Please tell me you're going to get them painted to match the factory color. I love your build and feel like the white fenders are taking away from it

My bad I did not, I went back to his face lift time post and he didn't mention anything. But i've read it now and I also agree go with the dip your car solution for now. Its cheap and it'll get the whole truck to match. I have it on mine now and like it so far!

I ordered a can of color matched paint to paint the headlight filler pieces. Hopefully if they turn out good i may prep and paint the fenders with some more of it as well. It would be a somewhat cheaper and more temp paint job as it wont be flawless but it will be a lot better than stark white. Ill post up pics and progress once i get it.

The fitment and gaps really bug me on some peoples fiberglass so I made sure I made the gaps as good as I could get.

Have to agree. I love that look and ditto on the rake.. It has no business on these rigs.. Nice build so far..

Wow those fit a lot better than the fiberwerx I got. One fit about that well, and the other was quite a bit off. Still have to massage it a bit more before paint, as the fender sits about 3/16" above the hood in one spot, drives me crazy. :redbrick:

my passenger side where the A pillar meets the hood is about the same height difference but it flattens down. Hoping some sanding will fix that, if not a bit of filler to ramp it down on the new hood will make it took right.

i was pretty worried because of my paint fade. Seems to be doing pretty good though just from a quick test. The clear lays flat too.

Yeah they make some good paint, especially coming from a rattle can. I used it a few times to color match the trim on my old Integra and CL. Really couldnt notice it wasnt factory

Got my headlights in. I'm really shocked and disappointed Toyota has the 1156 bulb at the blinker. I remember those from my 68 cougar. Like seriously Toyota? Anyway I love the look of the 06 headlights. The blinker in the light and I love the way the lower filler piece actually clips in!
I also cranked the front an inch.

Man, the transformation of your ride almost to a completion, ( on the front ), is looking outrages. I mean really looking GOOD there Sam, I like it!

its a huge face lift for sure. It was fairly straight forward. i just cut and soldered the wires and plugged the new bulbs in. Worked right away and everything else was all plug and play once i had the right bulbs. Huge transition i think. Not to mention better output thus far with the halogen projectors.
It will also fit better around the fender around the light on yours. The fiberglass is a little out of shape in some areas so was a task to test fit and get it all to line up right. So a normal fender wouldnt have these issues.
