This is the hydraulic arm on the rear hatch that I recently got painted. It's making a noticeable squeak when opening and closing. It's coming from the ball pivot at the top.

What Lubricant should I use to relieve this?

White lithium for some longevity

My specific recommendation would be 3-in-1 Professional White Lithium Grease. I use this on all of the door and rear hatch hinges.
