First I would like to say I am in no way affiliated with Lucrum, other than being impressed with their products. I have recently been in contact with the folks at Lucrum to find out if they intend on building a winch mount similar to the one they have for the FJ to fit our trucks. This is the email I received back:

Thanks Jeremy,

I would like to see how much interest there really is, if the
interest was great enough we might pursue making one. What I would like to
see that would help me gauge this would be a poll or thread on the forum
with people to be able to sign up for and post their interest and also tell
whether or not they would buy one at our current prices. If we were to see
enough people interested I would be willing to move to the next step and
commit to some research. Feel free to post this if it helps.

Sincerely,

Chris Marsolais

If you are interested please email, call, or post here.

There web address is: Stock Bumper Winch Mount

You will find that this mount has some serious weight advantages and I have not heard one negative thing about them.

This is what it might look like one a 5th Gen.

Love how it fits seemlessly with the 4R, very nice!
Question: Why does the Trail in the image above not have a 'hood scoop'?

Because when I chopped that pic I wanted to see what a TE looked like sans the hood scoop! ;):

Here's another TE with the scoop! :cowboy:

Here's one more, but in black:

Don't forget to vote in the poll...the more the merrier!

That's a pretty nice set-up. I'm adding it to my list of after-market add-ons when my TE comes in. Hopefully they build it ;)

Here you go westwind77, here's the black TE with the hood scoop, the original grille, and the LUCRUM bumper:

From what I've seen on the FJ Cruiser forum Chris did a nice job with the original design for the FJ...I hope he can/will come up with a design for the T4R as well!

Are you kidding? A winch mount like that that lets me keep my stock bumper??? Sign me up for that!!! Heck yes I'd buy one. :hungry:

If any of you frequent other sites where folks might be interested in this product please post a link so that we can get this winch mount in production.

I noticed in your sig. you have an SR5, as do I, but all the photos are of the Trail with the winch. Obviously the Trail owners are a LOT more likely to install this equipment, but how would it look on an SR5 since the front end is 'different'? When you spoke to them did they mention one unit for all models? Figured since you had an SR5 you would have photoshoped yours :)

I do not think it would change the mount for an SR5 vs. trail edition the frame is not different the bumper cover is, so I think the product would work on both models. I did not do any of these photoshops, I simply pulled them off of this forum I do not have any photoshop skills.

After having my bumper off and doing some measurements I'm not sure we even need one of these. It is just added cost and more importantly weight. We can just mount it right on the aluminum front aluminum bumper and have the fairlead come out a cutout in the front lower grill.

The bolt pattern for the Warn winch is 10 x 4.5 inches. Our bumpers are 3 1/4 inches wide so we'll need to get some hardened 3/8 or 5/16 allthread rod and sandwich it on there with a steel plate on the bottom. We may need to brace the front bumper back to the frame with some struts for added strength, but that's no biggy. The actual bumper is already 7075 aluminum and is pretty stout. It took some effort to drill thru it.

A Warn m6000 or m8000 would fit right in there.Warn Industries - Premium Series: M6000
