with all the talk of ARB and Demello winch bumpers, i thought it'd be timely to bump this thread up again...

it's been a couple months now... any news on the Lucrum? Bueller?

Good call SC..still love the look of this.

Seattle Mike was right...theres a whooooooole lot of plastic work that needs to addressed to make it look right with the Demello and ARB...it'll be interesting to see how it settles out.
 
Thumbs up on this, even though I've pulled the trigger on my bumper.

I think this was a good idea on the FJ and a good idea on the T4R. Great for casual off roaders, getting to the hunting cabin, snow areas, and just piece of mind on the road. So I am not signing up, but still say thumbs up.

Lucrum's a good guy too. :)
 
I'm just nervous that they will be like every other manufacturer out there and tell us that they will have one ready to ship by late November. I'll lose my mind by then. If they could promise a quick delivery date, I'd pay for their R&D expense just to get the first one.
 
Lucrum sure is in a good position right now: they've literally got a queue forming. now to just build it...

any word? proffer a group buy to sweeten the pot?
 
I'm hoping some of the new guys happened to see this and may arouse a bit more interest in it.


Spoke to Chris on Thursday and based on continued interest, that will base his decision to move forward with some more research. He didn't rule it out, but explained the complexity of R+D to get something like this from drawing board to build up.
 
Interesting. This seams like a great alternative as I love the look of the stock bumper and not looking forward to the weight and drag from a full bumper. This is something I would consider but would need more info.

I have not been to their website but judging by the poll their going rate is +/-599, my question is the following: does price include the winch? I am sure that folks will want good quality winches but I would not pay $599 for a mounting plate alone. Even though the video of the FJ winched up in the air was impressive I want to understand the product a little bit more before I vote based on price point.
