Lug Nut Question

Got some factory aluminum wheels to replace my steel ones.
Did a search but it didn't quite answer my Q...

Is there any difference between the parts store mag style lug nuts and the factory toyota mag style lug nuts?


I put a parts store one in the wheel and the shank hole in the wheel was .060" bigger than the lug nut shank. Is this a problem?

I dont think you will have a problem.
The .060 is probably just to leave the lugnut a little bit of room so that the aluminum and steel dont corrode together... which would make it impossible to remove the lugnut.

Finally found the ones that would fit...$3.50 each! They had the short shank and the shank was fatter so it would property fill up the wheel holes. That is way too much for stinkin lug nuts!

Looking for other options currently. If you know of a place to get the correct ones let me know. Thanks.
