lugnut probs!! please help!!

bought my 99 4r about a month ago! last nite i walked outside and front left was on rim. now i cant find the special lug to get the tire off . went to a yota dealership and the told me to order one from my manual. is this the way i need to go about getting one or is it a bunch of bs. theres gota be somehwereto get one from besides ordering one right??

the lug your referring to is a wheel lock.

1. you can find someone near by that has the toyota lock and barrow it.

2. order it.

3. find out who the maker is & go buy the key.

4. have a wheel shop break it off.

5. break it of yourself.

Discount Tire or about any tire shop should carry keys for most type of those locks. If you can get enough air in there to limp over, that would be the best and cheapest way. Then have them just put on a regular lugnut on there, if you don't want that keyed lug.
