Lumbar Support

I have a 2006 Sport which has the power passenger seat but lacks the inflatable lumbar support found on the driver's side. My wife c/o the lack of support on her side. Wondering if anyone has ever retro-fitted the lumbar support to the passenger seat and how big a deal it might be?

you might be better of purchasing a cushion at a medical store.

adding the lumbar support will need a motor at the least. (haven't ripped things out yet.)

Thanks for the suggestion, Mole, but we've been the "cushion from the Healthy Back Store" route. That helps some but the damned thing is always in the way, when she's not in the car. There was another earlier thread about the passenger seat being uncomfortable but the few times I've ridden there, I didn't notice it. I guess our backs are different, which may explain why I like looking at hers and no one wants to look at mine.

You could always let her drive...:)

Normally I would have a smart remark for such a comment, but as it so happens I anxiously await the return of my girlfriend who insisted in taking my truck to the grocery store not even 10 minutes ago. Only the second time she's driven it and the first where I wasn't in the car. Is it normal to be anxious? :p

I lie every time my wife takes the 4runner and say..."sure honey you can take the truck I don't care"...inside I'm screaming with "you better not put one scratch in my baby or I'll have your head"...
