I always buy Toyota toys when I see them I cannot help it, then I hack them up and "mod" them for fun to kill time at work.

I bought this one the other day for 9 bucks at Ross.

notice it has hummer wheels..lol and it is lower than a Toyota matrix..


So I lifted it and gutted the RC stuff.

I have a Few at work and several more at home..

yea I need a 4th and 5th gen 4runner. as far as i know, they are not made.

yeah they don't sell 4runners over there that's why. they do make pretty cool LC tho, they sell FJ, tundra, vigo, highlander, rav 4. i was pretty impressed with this one

I would like a tundra, and perhaps one of the 120 vehicles they have over there. I think they are called Prado, Surf, or something else in China. I was there in December for a couple weeks for work. I found a awesome BMW store with the coolest BMW crap you have ever seen. But I could never lock in on any Toyota stuff. I found a Toyota model when I was there about a year ago at the air port. But the wanted like 120 USD for it.

Have you ever ridden in the Toyota VIP busses in China....? I rode in one in Beijing and one is Dallion in route to Yingkou. Buy I have not seen them in the bigger cities like Shanghai. But I want one as a motorhome.

Yes i have, my uncle actually has one, i was born and raised in shanghai. they are PRICEY :faint2:

Is there a way to get one to the US. I visit China pretty often for work, but I have never tried to bring a vehicle home.

Do you speak mandarin? I have learned just enough o be polite when I am in public. Most of my vendors speak English.

You can get one here but it has to be modified to qualify for US emission, being that it will not fit in a shipping container the shipping will be fairly expensive. And vehicles from China to US is not really worth is because they cost twice as much over there. I would try to get one from Japan or Europe.

yeah there are some pretty big differences, but don't feel bad, even most chinese people don't understand most providance's dialects, which is why they are promoting a standard mandarin now
