maf swap

Has anyone on here done this swap from a v6 camry on a 1st gen. Was reading where a 4runner kid done it on a 2nd gen. Was wondering if it could be done.

Why can't you find another 4runner to take a MAF out of? I had to replace mine, so I went to a junkyard and found a 2nd gen with the 3vze. Everything works great now. If the camry has the 3.0 in it, it should work.

^ Hes looking to do this because the Camry MAFs flow better, giving more air to the engine. Go look at 4runnerkids build page.

I think you mean to ask if anyone has done this on a 22re?

Because the camry swap applies to all 3vze years regardless of body style

oh ok. yeah i meant on 22re. thats where i got the idea on doing that. wonder if it would work.
