Mag light mounted and Delta Hopper (box)

Ordered my Maglight accessory kit with mounts of Amazon and after much debating on where to install, under the glove box looked good. Had to make a few brackets so the box wouldnt hot the light when open, but it turned out pretty good.

Also, have had the Delta box in the back for some time and figured I would post a pic if anyone is interested in some secure storage. I originally got it for my 85' single cab as there was no room inside. It came with two mounts that I bolted to the bed and the box secures to the mounts. The truck was sold and it was sitting around so I figured why not utilize it in the Runner.

Any way, it holds all my goodies (oil, tranny fluid, water, fire extinguisher, tools, etc) and is lockable.

I agree with that but why compound the problem with missle hazards? Or a roll over while wheelin'? It's just relatively cheap insurance.

The flashlight location mount looks awesome man. Im jealous of ur delta box, i want one for my truck but theyre a little too expensive for me hahaha. How much did you pay for the Mag lite clamps, if you dont mind and whered you get them?

this was the very first 'addition' I did with my 4Runner. I already had the both itmes bc I had the mag in my previous ride but I didn't know where to mount it! After pondering, I ended up drillin little starter holes in the metal seat frame under the driver seat and mounting the clips with self tappers. It really does come in handy when I need to grab my mag and hop out the tuck. It's very out of the way, and most people wont know it's there.. even if you are in the driver seat. It does provide a sense of security if you're ever in one of 'those situations' and in it's conspicuous spot, prob hard to tell you're even grabbing at it. Those clips do lock in well though, takes a good tug to get the light out. I plan to add another set, if not a streamlight to my rollbar in the back.

To help out Deaner, I think I paid somewhere around $10 or $15 for just the mounting clips from a local hardware store. Well worth the price.

10 bucks is awesome. I ended up buying one last night for $14 plus shipping on ebay hahaha. I comes with an anti-roll grip for the flashlight and different lenses for fog applications and better sight in the dark. I like the mount, but the location takes away prime passenger leg space doesn't it?

Could you mount it vertically to the back of the center console? It would take a bit of rear leg space away, but not too much. Or how about right at the base of the driver seat? That would be very convenient, and it shouldn't inconvenience you.

That is a cool item, I might pick one up myself and find a different place to mount it.

I got the maglite kit from Amazon for $8.51 with free super saver shipping (have to spend over $25). The kit comes with the following:

I looked at other places to mount it, but I didnt want to drill holes in the floor, and I couldnt mount it to the seat track. It actually only sites a little lower than the blower motor, so passengers should be fine. If they complain, they can take their own ride, or walk! The clips are strong as you really have to reef on it to pull it out.

As far as the Delta box, I think it was around $130 or so. Not bad. I got it from a local store, but here is some specs from Amazon:
