Maglite location

I've been sitting in my truck trying to find a good location to attach my maglite clips. I was thinking about the oh $h!t handle above the tweeter but I'm worried that if I got in a wreck that the maglite would fly out and hit me in the face. Any ideas?

I want to keep it in arms reach but there doesn't seem like many options in my 97. Frustrated..

Oh and to keep those batteries from rattling around in the light itself, I've install a thin strip on felt on each battery. Quite as a mouse now when I'm driving down the road:

At your feet may not be the best location either. You have to think of worst case scenario; that may break your foot in an accident.

I just leave mine in the rear seat pocket. It's not the best location but it's the best that I've found. I don't have those clips either.

My weather tech mats come up under the seat and I don't want to cut into them. I also don't have that piece of black mettle under the seat, but now that I look at it, I may be able to add a piece. Thanks for the tip on the batteries too!! :bigok:

i stick mine in between the seat and the center console. Just slides right in. I dont have those clips either. The only thing is that when I move my seat up (for example changing into gym clothes after work in the backseat) I need to take the light out so I can slide the seat forward and so that it doesnt scratch the center console. Best place for it because it is secured and accessible. Also if anyone wants to get nutz..... I either can shine it at them (cuz 4R is a cop car...so they think Im a cop) or grab it ab buss someone's head.......hehe....never did that before but at least I will be able to.

what about tucking it in the passenger seat, rear pocket? it's an arms reach away = easily accessible. won't work if you have seat covers tho.

To be honest, it just looks so cool when it's locked in those clips and you can see it, like the first few photos. I might have to get creative in order to get it under the seat, being that I don't have that black piece of mettle there.

That 3rd picture shows the flashlight mounted behind the passenger seat, at the feet of the rear passenger. You should have that piece of metal there, you could try that location?

I'm a Kiwi, not Maori however I did live on the big island for nine years. Not sure about the mag yet but I'll figure something out. This has been helpful though.
