Love my mag gray metallic. Sexy when it's nicely wash and waxed. But looks bad ass when dirty. With snow/salt or mud, it looks tough.

I had a black car and the scratches drove me nuts. MGM is not as bad. I didn't pick silver because the color was just too common where I am.

I am planning on buying a new 4Runner. I have narrowed my choices down to grey, silver, or blue. I have always owned silver vehicles and wanted to try something different. I really like the silver though do its its ability to hide scratches and dirt; I dont wash my cars much. I have always liked blue vehicles but due to the shade is more navy blue dirt/scratches would be seen more. I thought grey might be a good color to go with but know scratches will be much more apparent compared to the silver. Any advice?

YES! I just installed that kit this past weekend. There are many spacer options available and I also considered the Bilstein 5100 0-2.5" adjustables. But since my 2015 SR5 has only 40000 miles and still rides like new (good for me), I decided to go with the spacer option. There is a lot of discussions on pros/cons with spacers and I was 90% convinced on the Bilstein route. But since the OEM ride is sufficient at this time, I figured the $120 price on this kit was worth a try and then when I replaced the struts at 90-100k miles, I would purchase Bilstein. I also wanted to purchase from a reputable company and Rough Country has been in the business of lifts for over 30 years. Let me tell you, in my opinion, this was a great choice for me. I drive pavement 95% and non-pavement is limited to camping fields and simple trails. The kit was very simple to install and fit perfectly, I have no complaints on the design.

Here is a before picture at stock height.

I first went with just the front 2" spacers to see how it would look. This is just the front 2" spacers and rear stock height. This perfectly leveled the truck from to back. If anything, there was a 1/8" difference from front to back. But realizing in real world situations, loads kids/gear or towing, it would be nose high.

So I installed the rear 1" spacer and visually it still looks great. There is a 1" difference now from front to back.

This is what I have. I'm pretty happy with it and can't beat the price. Stock suspension is very capable so I opted for the spacer option. Will be replacing full suspension later in the trucks life to something nicer. Rough Country gets hammered online in terms of quality, but come on, how badly can a company botch a 2 inch piece of metal.

Opted for Helo 17" wrapped around Cooper Discoverer at3 285/70. Love em so far.

Prinsu 7/8ths just went on this week. Great rack, light and great powder coating.

Just joined up. Picked up my new ride two weeks ago with 7 miles on the ODO. So far I am really loving the truck. Putting on Nerf bars this weekend and have swapped most of the lights to led. More mods to come, once my wallet fills up again. I drove a Pathfinder for the better part of 13 years then a Subaru Legacy GT wagon for another 13, now my 4runner hopefully for longer. I used these and am very happy. I had another set that just threw light everywhere, these are much more focused and I love the yellow tint.

Just picked up this '14 SR5 on Friday. 31k miles and bone stock. Probably going to stay that way other than maybe some more aggressive tires. Pretty much a kid/bike/commuter with the occasional MTB/Camping trip.

I freaking love this vehicle!!



On a side note, I just put in a claim for hail damage!! Bought Friday morning and it got pummeled that evening! Damn happy I got the Tire/Wheel Platinum Plus add on from the dealer!! No deductible!
