Just traded my 2012 sr5 for trail edition. Now mods start all over again. Blacking out the chrome first.

No rubbing at all with 285/70/17? Can you give us the full specs please. I've been looking at this tire size but everyone says they will rub.

Did you have to do any mods to prevent rubbing? Such as body chop/fender liner/mudflap?

My plan is to have:

285/70/17 on 17x8.5 wheels.
Bilstein 2.5/1.5 lift
BFG KO2 all terrain tires
Spidertrax spacers if possible but I hear this creates a lot of rubbing

I've seen pictures of people who painted their trail front/rear valances a matte black. I'm considering doing this with black rhino liner. Has anyone seen anyone do this to the fender flares as well? If so can you point me toward the pictures or share with me here. Thanks!
