out of curiosity how come your runner is 2-tone?

We did a Vinyl wrap in Matte Black. My good friend does Vinyl wraps so it only cost me material. We did it from the pin stripes down which covered all the sheet metal along the sides. Protected us from the sand blasting living on the beach and helps with tree pinstripes, especially when we do the KAT this Spring and more trips in the fall. Ended up looking pretty good so we were happy with it.

I'd like to see some more pics of your ride. I've been contemplating on painting my wheels black or buying the black TRD wheels. I also have an SR5. You have any more pics at different angles? Thanks!

Mine just a few posts up is a SR5 with black painted wheels. The first picture in the woods shows them pretty well.
Looks awesome! I'm leaning more towards painting my wheels! It'll cost me 2000$ Canadian to get them shipped to Vancouver. $1300 CAD if I pick up across the border in Bellingham WA. We don't get the TRD Pro up here nor can we get the parts for them.

Do it! I popped off each one taped off the tire laid it on a piece of plywood and used about one can of Plastidip on each one. They came out great and have held up shockingly well.

You could also powder coat them usually for $60-$100 a wheel and then really never have to worry about it. [MENTION=123371]fargo4x4[/MENTION] Has one of the best looking builds imo and painted SR5wheels.

Yes I have looked into powder coating, the issue is the center cap can't be powder coated unless they are metal. (From what they tell me)

This is true, but there are solutions. I drop my T4R off next week for some powder coating. They are going to color match the PC and paint the center caps to match for an extra $50. I saw another set of wheels that he had just finished, and the caps were a dead match for the wheels.
PC won't hold up on lug nuts, and neither will paint or plasti dip (when tightened). I bought new black lug nuts. Alternatively, there are people who PD the nuts after install, and touch them up as necessary. Good luck with whatever you decide.
I have noticed that some of the Limiteds have black center caps. Are they identical to the SR5's? Just thinking out loud as an option. I might powder coat and paint caps or paint all. From what I read powder coating is a more stronger/durable finish which I prefer. Leaning more towards painting all. I like the contrast of the lug nuts and emblems unpainted.

I've looked at probably 50 pages of this thread hoping to find the Gray SEMA rim on an MGM. If anybody has this combo, I would appreciate photos.

I did just a quick search, and get the impression that limited caps would not fit a SR5, but please don't take that as gospel. My wheels will be grey, lug nuts black, and although the center cap will be painted to match the wheels, the Toyota logo on the cap will be painted black. Powder coating is the most durable, as I understand it. Nervous about the colors. Hoping they turn out the way I expect!

Haha thanks, but there are plenty more 4runners far more tricked out then ours! Bout our rims we rattle canned them ourselves... we decided not to powder coat because when you consider the cost... we would have rathered put that money towards new rims... and by our experience powder coated products still get chipped and scratched like anything else... so we sanded ours cleaned them up, then hit it with 3 coats of rustoleum sandable black primer then sanded lightly and hit each rim with 3 coats of "storm gray metallic" by dupli color... then hit it with 3 coats of clear coat...
We did the same color and process on our steel bumpers and front toyota emblem
