I've been racking my brain trying to decide on what to do with my wheels. I have a 2015 SR5. I want to change my wheels but keep it OEM. Just thought I'd share some pics of the options I'm contemplating in case anyone was thinking the same. (Pics have been taken from this forum and internet searches)
I originally wanted to go black wheels but I'm leaning more towards the Trail wheels. I'm thinking it would match the emblems more than the black wheels.

I think painted or pc-d oem wheels look good ! Spend on other stuff

Fast forward a few weeks to the Grand Canyon.
Apologies for the long post, but I have some sort of dilemma.
The dealership I bought my runner from wasn't aware there was an aftermarket lift on it. Through my research over the past few weeks on here, I have come to the conclusion that there are 5100s in the front and back. I'd like to determine and clarify if the front are adjustable, and what setting they are on, and to see if a bigger tire would fit with the trail wheels I have on! I would have made a separate thread, however my post count isn't high enough (yet).

yes, they are adjustable. It appears they are set to the lowest setting. the rears are not adjustable, and you will need new springs or spacers in the rear, to achieve lift in the back. Once lifted, you can fit 285s, might need to do some trimming on the front bumper and remove front mud flaps if they are still there.

Just to clarify, I would need to put the fronts to the highest or middle setting, and get rear coils that would raise the rear 2".
From my lurking on here I see a lot of people have differing opinions on rear coils. Is there a particular set that would be preferable to what I'm hoping to achieve?

Depends on how high you want to go, I believe you can do the 2nd from the top and sway a way 1.5" springs and be pretty level, and fit 285's. Or hit the top one and do a 2" spring. I am not 100% on that though.

After owning three 4th Gen 4Runners ('04, '05, '07) I decided it was time to move up to the 5th Gen. I picked up a MGM '16 SR5 last week after realizing buying a 1-2 year old 4Runner would only save a few thousand at most. So far I love this thing. It's far different from the 4th Gen but different in a good way. Only thing I've added so far are OEM running boards (black crushed oval is the name I believe).
I was torn between white and MGM because I had two white 4th Gens and loved them. The wife kinda made the decision for me. She said it was time for something new. MGM is growing on me the more I see it. The color can change significantly depending on the lighting. Love all the pictures posted in this thread.

You're right! The issue is, we don't get the TRD Pro up in Canada (Vancouver) and dealers can't bring in American parts. Also, I inquired about the Trail wheels and my local dealer tells me I can't buy them unless I currently own a Trail. But another dealer says they could bring them in for me but will cost $684 CAD each!!! SMH! My options are to paint my wheels, order online (heavy shipping costs) or pick them up across the border in Bellingham WA...
What a tough situation! Have you looked at other wheels? Not sure what they'll have in Canada, but I love the black MB TKO wheels. They look great on the 4runner.
