At this point, I'd wait to see what the new gen looks like, but that means waiting about a year...The 2017 is not redesigned.

That's a huge gamble though. If the redesign is anything like what happened to other vehicles (think pathfinder and Grand Cherokee) then I'll be stuck with only one choice..a Rubicon and I walked away from getting one of those because it's just not feasible for me.

I forgot to mention the other thing that I typically avoid is purchasing the first year model of a new generation. I don't like beta testing vehicles.

Its first camping, fishing and boating trip! Towed my boat a lot better than I had anticipated. About 400 miles round trip.

Got wheels and tires installed today.

Tires are Falken Wildpeak AT3W 275/65/18. Amazon Prime more than paid for itself!

I am getting some rubbing at close to full lock. Fender liner mod and mud flap removal or mod should take care of it. Getting 5100s installed on Thursday. Just planning to go .85" in front and possibly OME spacer in the rear.

Traded the '05 SR5 for a '14 Trail Premium. Mods done in the first month: TRD Pro wheels on Cooper Discoverer Tires, Bilstein 5100 fronts, Spidertraxx spacers, Plasti dipped emblems. Lovin' it!
