Just traded in my 2017 WRX (long story) for my 2015 SR5. My first 4Runner. Looking forward to modding this bad boy in the years to come. Started with some Westin steps for the wife and kids to climb in, blacked out emblems, and some AVS window visors. Loving my 4Runner!

Looks awesome! What method did you use to black out your emblems? PlastiDip, paint, the "noluxled" black out kit? etc?

Thanks! It's a start. It's just an overlay kit that goes right over the existing chrome emblems. Much cheaper than painting them. Took about 3 minutes to install and cost under $100! Amazon!

Just picked mama's new ride of yesterday. 2017 TRD Off Road Premium. Wheels and tires today (F'ing fiasco at DT), along with Weathertechs. 5100's soon! Gonna black out the bumpers, rails and ditch the "Off Road" badging.

Hi all... new to the forums and to this awesome 2012 MGM Trail Edition!

Above: my boy and my new Toy after a hard day on the slopes at Crested Butte, CO.

I've driven an '02 Sport Edition for the last 8-plus years, but as the odometer crept closer to 200k I decided to find something newer. After months of research, I decided to find a 2010-13 Trail Edition, which seemed to have the best combination of price, capabilities and looks. I found this '12 Trail with 36k miles (!) in Pueblo (about 120 miles away, with at least a dozen Toyota dealers along the route). Loving it so far!
