Just did my first mod, which was getting rid of the Limited tires and putting on some meater ones. I kept it at 265, but wish I went to a 275. Tires were easier to find and at a better price with the 265 (I plan on going off-road maybe about 10% of the time). Rocking the FN f(x) Pro wheels, which by the way, Dustin is probably the best vendor I've ever done business with.

One thing I wish I knew was that the dark wheels somehow make my wheels look smaller. Stock suspension since I don't want to rip out the XREAS yet. Next mod would be to level the front... maybe it'll look a little better that way (hopefully).

Looks good man. Perfect stance, wheels, tire size - everything is nicely proportional and not overly absurd. I'm wanting to head a similar direction. What lift height and tire size are you at?

Thank's for the kind responses. My 4runner has a 3 inch lift in front and 2 inch lift in rear running on 285s and 1.25 wheel spacers. I tried to keep it as factory as possible without turning it into a pro or something a swat team would drive.

Only thing crazy is the snorkel, the rest of the mods are complete bolt on (i.e. no drilling or splicing wires), and that was the hard part.

The next mod is a hidden winch.

I think it has to do with the angle of the pic and the 285 tires. It doesn't look lifted until you stand next to it.



My current preload on my suspension is as follows:

its 2.5 inch lift from the factory then I added another 1 inch to it, so around 3.5 inches of total lift. However, I'm running full armor underneath (skids/sliders/etc), so it brought it down to around 3 inches give or take...lol.

I’ve joined the 4Runner “club” last week with my new ride. I love it. I wanted to thank all the members here for the help and advice. I must have searched and googled a million times before finding my perfect match....all thanks to you guys and girls.
