Had some fun with plastidip before deciding if I want to have the valances professionally painted. Then had some extra and did the hood scoop.

What’s the quality and longevity of the plastidip vs. replacement of the front valance? $300 is a little steep for a black front valance, but I don’t want to reapply the plastidip every month or two.

i plastidip mine and it was rock solid for 3 years. The longer the sun bakes it on, the harder it becomes. You just have to be real careful when you clean it that you don't use oil based solvents (which you shouldn't be doing to paint anyways).

Cool thing was when i removed it 3 years later, b/c i got tired of the black out look, the paint underneath it was freaking spotless.
