maint light flashing

So I've had my 04 Runner Sport now for about 3 months and the Maint light started flashing 3 times after I start her up. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened lately I've not gone off road lately either. Everything appears so be fine, any suggestions? It's been 4000mi since I had the oil changed, is that it?
