MAINT light interval when it comes to oil changes

Ok so don't shoot me- I did an oil change with mobil1 plus a new filter and reset the MAINT light months ago. As a derp, I forgot to note it in my log book when I did it. So now the MAINT light comes on letting me know its time for another change. Question: What is the interval between MAINT light illuminations?

I tried to search but I only found how to turn off the light (not my problem) and then I came across two different answers: 4000-4500k and 7000-7500k between light changes. I didn't really find anything in the owners manual about the light interval either. Also it's the wife's truck so I don't really remember the mileage driven. I had planned on changing every 9k.

I got mine used at approx 38k, with a fresh oil change, and the light went off again around the 44k-45k mark, if I remember correctly. It was on for a few weeks before I actually took it in. So that would be around 5k-6k, I believe. I am probably off, but that's the best I can think of right now.

On the 4th Gen, the maint light starts blinking at 4500 miles and come on steady at 5000 ( at least on 03-05).

This for all recently made Toyotas. 4500 it starts blinking, 5000 it's steady.

I agree with the 5000 mile steady-light...but I expand that it ALSO guarantees that the driver with sound off with something at or close to "Aww what the hell!" :rockthrow:

My old dealership would forget to reset it sometimes, as i get my oil changed every 3k instead of 5k. Therefore, i learned how to reset it myself.
