Maintenance items I should perform? 2007 w/82k miles

I'm looking for some advice on maintenance/service items that I should perform soon on my wife's 4Runner. I don't really drive it all that often but I can't think of anything that stands out as needing attention or being an issue - except maybe the super squeaky sunroof.

It's a 2007 Sport V8 with almost 82,000 miles. We bought it brand new and so far haven't had any major issues.

What I have already done:

• 
  Front rotors/pads
  Rear rotors/pads and calipers (actually went through a couple rotors/pads because I didn't know the piston was sticking)
  Diff fluid ~20k miles ago
  Water pump
  Thermostat
  Serpentine
  Timing belt
  Coolant
  

That's all I can think of at the moment. I'll be tossing on five new tires soon, too. The spare is the oem tire still, figure it's due for replacement as well.

So what else should be done? Spark plugs and wires(15lb feet?) Any common issues I should address now? Should I buy that wiring kit that fixes the air pump issue (I don't want to cut the original writes, think I saw a plug in harness).

I did the brake fluid when I did the calipers. Also did the transfer case at the same time as the diff.


Looks like these are the spark plug part numbers I need:

DENSO 3297 {#SK20R11} Iridium Long Life
Gap .044



For the trans fluid probably just drain/refill vs flush it seems.

Cabin air filter behind glovebox should be changed at least once a year.

Flush/replace power steering fluid.

Check all coolant hoses, vaccum lines, etc. for cracking, etc.

Inspect radiator for any sign of leaking, usual spots are lower sides where tanks and cooling tubes join, also around thermostat housing, leaks should be evident as pink crusty deposits.

There are no spark plug wires on the 4th gens, each cylinder has it's own coil.

Thank you for your post. I am a new owner of a 2007 4Runner at 146kmiles previously maintained by the dealership, so I have the previous maintenance records. From what I can see, the best thing I can do for her is the same as you have. Plus the MAINT light just came on and the only way I am going to know for certain the last time these items were done is to do them. Seems dumb not to do it and then I can schedule out the maintenance from there with the confidence that I haven't failed at my own due diligence. Besides, I absolutely love my truck!!! Talk about confidence while ridin' the 8 mile trek up to North Fork Reservior. So awesome! :nod:

Just dawned on me to ask...since your in Colorado, who do you take your truck to for other mechanical repairs here? I'm in Pueblo, but if I need to drive North to find the man one would call the "4Runner Guru" in Colorado, I will do it.

Sue just an FYI, the "Maint" light is just for oil change reminder and comes on about 5000 miles after an oil change, if it was reset, the "Maint" light is reset at every oil change, all other maintenance is done according to the Toyota Scheduled Maintenance Guide or your own preferrence, if you don't have the Toyota Scheduled Maintenance Guide booklet that came with your T4R you can download it at Toyota Owner's website.

Sorry, I don't visit this forum all that much so I just saw this. I've been using Larry H. Miller in the Springs for anything I don't do myself. But there really hasn't been anything major since we've owned it. A couple recalls maybe. It's been an excellent vehicle.

I did plugs and threw on another set of Hankook ATM RF10s. The last set lasted about 56,000 miles.

I really should look more into the air pump bypass thing. Just keeps slipping my mind.

Sunroof is still a squeaky rattlefest, though :redbrick:
