hey people,


i have about 18k on my 4runner.. The only Maintenance i been doing to my 4runner is oil changes...what other Maintenance should i be doing?

At 15k you should:
change your air and a/c filter
lube the drive shift and slip joint ,
rotate your tires and check you PSI.( you should rotate ever time you change your oil at 5k)
and check all your fluids.brake,PS, etc

noting really major till you hit 30k..

where can i buy a toyota A/c filter?

you can get the cabin air filter at the dealer (usually around $35) which is usually a rip off. I would go down to Napa or Kragen Auto Parts, I got one for about $18 - $20. It is really easy to replace, I would do so about every 6000 miles, depending on the driving conditions. There is a topic on this fourm about making your own air filter that works much better than the toyota one. Search for "Cabin Air Filter" and you should be able to find it.

just wondering, is it hard to lube the drive shift and slip joint?
