It's been hard to keep the ole' mouth shut about this one but Josh sent me a pic today so I had to! Anyway, Josh offered me something that I believe is going to be a great option for his racks....it's tig welded! obviously I haven't seen it in person yet but who better to share the only glimpse I've had of it than my t4r brothers? Another really cool thing he added is the @whitsonmetalworks tab on the back, the thing really makes the rack look like a polished product. Josh is stepping his game up boys...here she his

I can't imagine how long that must have taken haha. Looks good though! We're obviously going to want more pictures once you get it :biggrin1:
 
Lol, dang man aren't you in class right now??? A big thanks to [MENTION=165]momo.75[/MENTION] , the recent T4R.org July winner, for taking his own time and effort to design the logo and setup the cutting, super good dude (he's the go-to for T4R.org decals BTW). JPB, can't wait to see it on your rig and on the trails!

Wow, I really like it.... Is this a one time rack addition or will this be present on all racks manufactured from this point on?
 
Kyle do you mean the tig welding or the logo plate? The plate will be on all racks, including yours. The tig welding is an option I've recently added to the menu, so to speak, and jpb was the first to get it. Its not too bad if you can turn your brain off and forget about the time and argon flying out the window lol. It does result in a smaller weld and zero spatter or soot to clean up.
 
Yeah, I was referring to the logo plate.... Which is awesome..... I'm not much of a fabricator so I have no idea what the difference between, mig, tig, arc.. And all those things that get tossed around although I'm sure it has to do with technique and the gases that are used
 
I've been doing a lot of looking and there really isn't a better looking roof rack out there. I really need to set a jar aside to save up for one.

Man on man TIG welded huh??? That takes some time for sure.
