Manik Brush Guard Question

I'm considering the Manik Brush guard, but have a few questions. Can someone who has one post a photo of how it mounts under the bumper? I'd like to see where/how it mounts.

How secure is it once it has been mounted? Does it rattle during normal driving? What about when 4 wheeling?

I've read that it has the mounting holes for lights. How easy is it to wire them up, and how much do they cost?

I like using the front end mask for longer trips to cut down on those nasty rock chips. I see that there are some braces that go through the front air intake. This would obviously cause problems when trying to attach the front end mask. However, it seems like the rest of the mask could be applied without much problem. Can these braces be temporarily removed so that the mask can be installed, then reattached after the mask is on? Does this take a lot of work, or is it not a big deal?

When you pull the brush guard forward to open the hood, does it lock back into place when you close it again? Having it fall forward during a quick stop wouldn't be fun. :-)

Finally, what's a good online source to buy one?

Thanks!

All I can say is don't buy it.

Buy a Waag. I bought a Manik for my Pathfinder and it is a piece of crap. It is very flimsy and did not attach as promissed. I also lost my tow hooks as the unit bolts where the hooks were. I tried to get support from them which was useless. There was a lip on each of the mounting brackets that I had to machine off to get a solid fit. The rack also vibrates from side to side on bumps and in the wind.

It looks nice but that is about it.

Look for something better. I will never waste my $$ on a Manik Product again.

Cheers,
