So i have tried for several weekends to remove the pitman arm from the "power steering gear box" even so much as breaking 3 seperate pitman arm removal tools (the 2 bar style with the lock bars that turn screw) a pickle fork and nearing a full can of pb blaster the bolt is easy to remove... The pitman arm not so much...
Beings that i cant/havent used the power steering pump in 9 monts im to the point of just removing the pump(theres a group 27f battery in the way and the pump leaks a lot) now normally i just say **** it and just yank the pump and route the low pressure side of the gearbox to the high pressure side the gear box is good and tight for what its worth having a shit pitman arm pivot...
Is this the correct way to by pass the power steering gearbox side or do they make a cost effective manual steer gear box that will work with a 92 v6 4wd?
