Just tried it, no issues.

Can you let me know exact steps you took to mark the forum read?

Thanks,
admin.

well, there is only one place at the bottom of the page to hit. XP Pro, AOL 9.5 w/IE 7. ran

I think something not compatible to vb. No big deal for me if I receive errors.Usually security errors. Everything can't be synchronized easily. It could be worse if using unupdated IE.

ran, why are you still on IE7? Its not only the browser software, including its unupdated plugins could cause incompatibility with forum software. Try updating to a new IE version. :)

There are good topics/solutions here : vBulletin Community Forum

Well, AOL only works with IE or MAC. I surf with Opera. Win Update does not recognize my machine anymore, can't get SP3 or IE8. life, so much fun. I know, a new rebuild has to be soon.

I've been getting the same error for a few days. In fact, I even sent in a screen capture to the link in the message. FYI, I'm using W7, FX 3.6.12 and IE8; it doesn't matter what browser I'm using.

I click on "New Posts" when I first come here; then after I read all the threads, I click on "Quick Links" at the top of the page, and click "Mark Forums Read" and I get an error.

A security bulletin pops up which reads:

"vBulletin Message

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.

If this occurred unexpectedly, Please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

The link in the message is where I sent the error msg:

Nothing has changed on my computer for a long time.

I get the same error message on another machine. IBM ThinkPad, XP Pro, IE 8. I do not think any utilities were running in the background (A/V, anti spyware). still testing. ran

I still get the same message. Updated to Win 10, Core i5 PC, with 16 GB MB
On a Igb cable modem. still feels fast though.
