Pretty sure it operates on the same principle as K&N intakes and TRD stickers.
Are you implying that TRD stickers don't make my truck go faster? :ak472:

I have the filter to check. But I don't know how to cut it open. I need a reciprocating saw?

I just did some more reading on this oil and according to the chief engineer at MMO,
Ask The Marvel Mechanics Forum
I actually added just 8 ounces with 5 gallons of Castrol. Was not sure how much it would thin the oil. But after the above I guess I will go home and add another 10 ounces to bring it to 10% and go from there.
I just got this oil yesterday and I plan on filling my gasoline tank and adding MMO at the appropriate ratio (4 ounces for 5 gallons). Then try it on my lawn mower, string trimmer, leaf blower etc and see how they work.
I also have a gallon of sea foam I use primarily to spray on the carbs of my motorcycle and garden equipment.
When I've done mine, I used a grinder to start a cut and tin snips to cut the rest of it.
Thanks Kravvi! MMO is recommended at 4 ounces for every 10 gallons I think...not four ounces for every 5 gallons: ::Marvel Mystery Oil:: (Second question down on the list)

It is mostly napthenic mineral oil, with a bit of Stoddard solvent(paint thinner) added.MMO is a solvent. It is great for a lot of things, but lubricating my engine for thousands of miles is not one of them. I do not expect anyone who works for MMO to agree with me.
