master cylinder

well i was driving an the clutch pedal stared sticking to the floor an there was no pressure at all. so im gunna change the master cylinder any other ideas let me know

Remember that it's an entirely different system/cylinder/tank than the brakes.

'Master cylinder' usually just refers to brakes, so I'm just being sure.

It seems that the slave is usually the one to go for the clutch, may want to check it for leaks first.

dont forget to bench bleed the clutch master cylinder, youtube has how to videos it the same idea as the brake master, seal it up let the air bubbles rise in the reservoir.

yea i know the slave a totally different thing an it is the slave its leaking like a *****. I will never go to auto one again cause they gave me the wrong part twice love napa part comes in tomorrow an truck will be up an running

ok so napa an auto zone piss me off i took the old clutch master an they told me that they found a match well yota is still down due to the dumb asses who work behind the counter so where should i order the part from

RockAuto Auto Parts i use them all the time GREAT deals and good stuff too all the same part supplyers as advance auto and napa and auto zone, just way cheaper.

ok so i didnt end up ordering one from rock auto but great site if you need oem stuff i found out guy i bought it from put a used 87 toyota pickup 2wd clutch master in does this matter if the truck is a 3.0 v6 an its 4wd

easy way to find out is to look up the part number for both and see if they match.
