I went off roading with a group of 15-20 Jeeps on the Slickrock Trail near Bear Valley, CA. Here is a video of me going up their Stair Steps near the end of the trail.

One more video from Slickrock Trail. I went pretty slow through this section because everyone was getting close to the rocks on the driver side.

That's pretty awesome. The 4Runner seems like the smallest car among the 4 though
right?! no lift and stock wheels and tires do that :/

Yep, you are correct. My 4Runner climbed up the stair steps better than anyone thought. A lot of the Jeeps on this trip were locked front and rear with at least 33s. I think most were surprised at how easily I got up the rocks.

Great videos guys and gals. I love watching them. I haven't done any extreme offroading or drag racing but its good to know what the runner is capable of. Since my transmission took a dump on me at 40k miles {toyota replaced for free, reman.} while 4wheeling on the beach, I have been a little leary of doing anymore offroading. Well, thats about to change. Gonna take it on a weekend getaway mid May and will do some more beach driving. About to hit the 60k mi. mark and the warranty... well, you no will be no good after that. I'll see if I can get a video to share while on the beach. Sorry, where I live its flat ground, no hills or rocks to play on. My video may be boring to some of you. Thanks again for contibuting to this thread. Hopefully one day it will be a sticky.

Skyline, just curious why you're tuning a 4Runner, do you have other toys that are already tuned out? like a skyline perhaps? If not why bother with a 4Runner when you could have a Supra or something? Not that it isnt cool or anything just curious why you chose a 4Runner.
