We've had a number of inquiries about our popular universal Ultragauge and Scangauge mounts' compatibility with the 4th Gen 4Runner. Our mounts are made from heavy gauge powder coated steel, and attach securely to the A-pillar grab handle, placing the gauge where you can easily see it without obscuring your view of the road. We've seen these installed in Tacomas, Landcruisers, Sequoias, Frontiers, Pathfinders, and many other vehicles with grab handles.
Thanks to feedback from several customers, I can finally report that they fit quite nicely in the 4th Gen. Here are a couple of photos of the Ultragauge installation:
