Simple because I can and its unique not many people can say they have a fast 4runner. I think you can think of it as the path less traveled? And no I don't have other toys the 4runner is my DD.

I figured it was something like that, used to see guys with random vehicles at the drag strip (when my city had one). like old vans or a station wagon or something.
I'm looking forward to the day I have a garage and enough spare money to buy another Supra. for now I get my speed kicks on my gixxer.

Not sure, but I think it'll be fun regardless. I don't plan on supercharging. I'm going to run a single turbo. I'm thinking a turbonetics GTK500 (60mm) or 550 (61mm), both are T3, with a pro efi 128. I do like me a 3ur reg cab tundra, those things are fun. The one in the vid is a 12.9 sec truck. Pretty quick. Really the only thing that hold me back is the open diff. I haven't been to the track since my new tune and had the pulley installed. I might have to do that this week.
Is you 4runner 4x4 is V6 or V8, so no supercharged still ran mid 14sec wow, think getting v8 4x4 just do intake and exhaust, hope i can run low 15sec.

My truck is a V6 2wd. The last run in my previous state I ran a 14.3 with a 2.0 60ft. Hopefully I can improve on that, however the great thing about the truck is that it is consistent.

I'm feeling inspired by Skyline. Here is a little dash cam after I got my magnaflow. Sounds mean, moves like glaciers on the highway (accelerates much better when there aren't Civics in my way)

those were my numbers in a stock mustange GT well up to the 1/8 mile i never ran it at the 1/4 not bad for two less cylinders and an extra 1000 pounds.

In this video (taken Super Bowl Sunday of last year (**** the Giants)) I have the K&N cold air intake and a Magnaflow muffler welded in. I still had the resonator on it.
The CAI makes it sound mean and gave me a considerable amount of power for a bolt-on item!

That does sound good!! It doesn't sound like it has that annoying drone at speed either! Did you keep the resonator? Which Magnaflow did you go with? I've been wanting to add a little "grrr" to my V6 as well!

I removed the resonator and had this put on
I have the Magnaflow 5x8x24 I believe. This will definitely add a little grr and character to your truck! I would also highly recommend the K&N CAI! It honestly gave me more power, faster throttle response, better mpg, and a nice engine tone. RAW POWAHHHH!!!!
