Well I found a vid of me over the weekend from MSRH. Sadly I wasn't able to get the new tires I wanted so I still raced on my 4 year old tires. Even still I was able to clock my new personal best of a 2 minute flat lap time. Woot! 
I was able to clock it in the first heat and after that I could feel my tires performance just deteriorate away. I still went out to just see if I could improve my line and have a good time. I found a vid of a POV from a miata in the 3rd heat. skip to 7:00 to see my good looking rear end. This was also my first time in the advanced class!!

Yeah it was crazy fun. In the vid i was stuck in traffic for awhile and before the checkered came out i was about to pass a cobra with the new 5.0 in it. At this event i was able to have my friends race in the novice class with their xrunners. Lots of good times. I even have members there at msrh wanting a trucks/suv time trail.

If I didn't have my truck lifted, I would have loved to do this! The xreas is great for cornering.

Here are 2 videos of a trail that a group of friends and I drove in Idaho called Blackrock. Not to bag on chevy or ford, but I can honestly say, my 2WD 4runner can go just about everywhere a 4WD chevy or ford can go to a certain extent. as my friend always says what you dont have in traction, you can make up in speed. and I've got to be honest, its kind of the truth. it almost seemed like my 2WD almost out performed the 4WD chevy. But, there are times when 4WD would be really nice to have in my 4runner. All Ive got to say, is I am really surprised at how well a 2WD 4runner does on the trails out here in Idaho. and yes, that is an RX7 in the opening photo on the second video. you would have been surprised how well that car did in the dirt and mud!!! 2WD FTW

Not to bag on your 2wd 4Runner but those looked like pretty much gravel roads in those videos. A SWB pick up truck with IFS is pretty comparable to a 4Runner off road, our only advantage is ATRAC and the coil springs flex a little better than torsion bars and leafs.

Well its kinda hard go on trails clustered with rocks and stuff when you are driving with an RX7. I dont have videos of the other trails I have been on with rocks, steep hills and so forth like the other videos posted. This is the only time I have used my gopro for offroading, sorry to disappoint you.

Ouch. He would've been better off with more speed so at least he had some momentum to keep moving forward.

somehow he ingested some water (guessing the snorkel wasnt properly installed), he pulled the spark plugs and turned over the engine and clear it out but it still wouldnt start. After the video ended he gunned it and buried the entire passenger side so deep that water was up to the shifter.
Then to make matters worse the transmission wouldnt shift out of park regardless of the shifter position so he couldnt be towed off the "beach". It had to be left overnight but my Jeep club is going back out there today to try and rescue the guy.

It's more than likely eletrical issue like an encoder switch or something.

Well Team Toyota recovery showed up and helped out the FJ owner.
and after a couple hours she was on her way home to Pensacola
Let this be a guide that no matter what you drive the true enthusiest always helps out a fellow 4x4, 6 guys showed up to help this FJ owner than no one even knew before yesterday and towed his vehicle over an hour through mud and water and sand to bring it back to the highway so a wrecker could pick him up.
and after a couple hours she was on her way home to Pensacola
Let this be a guide that no matter what you drive the true enthusiest always helps out a fellow 4x4, 6 guys showed up to help this FJ owner than no one even knew before yesterday and towed his vehicle over an hour through mud and water and sand to bring it back to the highway so a wrecker could pick him up.
