I go by the the heat of the tires and if anyone dragged water onto the strip, don't worry I'll explain. I'm on street tires and street tires work well within a certain temp limit, get them to hot or wet and you'll slip raising your times. What I do is put it in 1st for several reasons, My 6200 RPM rev limit only works when the trans is in manual mode. Also if I shift this way the valve body shifts a tiny bit faster, but I have to time it just right otherwise I hit the rev limiter and waste up to half a sec maybe. I don't like standing on the gas and brake (kinda like doing a brake stand) as it builds heat in the trans, but I like to launch at 1000-1200 RPM, for me thats the sweet spot.
 
One of the better off-road videos I've seen! The combination of the different angles and the H3 getting stuck made it quite enjoyable!

I noticed on your wheel well shots that the gap above your bumper seemed to open and close as if the bumper is shifting or something, what's up with that?

PS_Love the silver bumper without the big hoops on top, much cleaner that way.
 
Thanks for the compliments. The bumper gap moves because the bumper is mounted to the frame and the body moves in relation to it.
