MATTRACKS on 5th Gen TR4?

Anyone thought about putting Mattracks on the Tr4?

I would imagine these are not street legal though. I guess you would either have to trailer your vehicle or find a way of changing them at the trailhead (talk about a pain).

i wouldnt be tempted... id just do it!
if it wasnt so dam expensive to get a set, then i would definitely do it. but there are a couple guys on pirate4x4 that have created homemade track systems

I wouldnt want them. They're one more thing to break. I would imagine that they would be horrible on rocks as well.

More for snow and sand. Less for rocks. I believe they TRAX variety are street legal. Saw them on Trucks (tv show) a few years ago.

I like the idea and they look great on atv's and rhinos but they only have a top speed of 40mph for the 4runner application. If i needed a 5 passenger vehicle with tracks, i would probably get a snow cat cuz $$ would probably not be an issue!! Personally i would get a Polaris 800 PRO-RMK 163 for snow and a turbo sand rail for the dunes!
