Figured I'd post the link here because I know a lot of you guys are like me and don't stray too far from this section.

Not from there, but been there and surfed there. Take a look at this Maui - Surfing in Maui, United States of America - WannaSurf, surf spots atlas, surfing photos, maps, GPS location to get an idea of the spots around where you are staying. I was in Kaanapali on the west side, and surfed Lahaina and Maalea. Maalea is advanced, but Lahaina has a few spots that are friendly. Also took my wife surfing at a beginner spot along Hwy 30, I think it's called Puamana, south of Lahaina. Most of the waves are going to be breaking on the north side of the island this time of year.
