Max Tire size

Hey does anyone know the Max tire size I can fit on a factory stock 4runner SR5 non 4x4 with 17inch rims? I want a more aggresive look but I decided against lifting it.
I think right now I have 265/65/R17

265/70R17* (except BFG A/T) you would of seen it if you checked the sticky.

I never understood the foot note, BFG's are notorious for running short. I have those size BFG T/A KO's and they rubbed for the first week on the driver side inner fender until the tire ate the plastic away.

Now it doesn't rub even at full lock, droop or compression.

The BFG A/T has a more squared profile than most tires, therefore has more issues with rubbing. In a 265/70/17 it shouldn't be too bad, but probably will rub some.

As mentioned, 265/70/17 or 255/75/17 will fit with no or very, very minor rubbing.

The 255/75/17 taller and more narrow than stock. I ran this size with just a level kit on front. Pics are in my build thread, link in sig.
