Max tire size

Planning to lift my T4R. Full 3" suspension and 1" body lift. How large of a tire can I run? I am fine trimming, flattening etc. as needed but do not want to be cutting into the firewall. The rig is not a daily driver and will see 80% trail time so I'm not too worried about road manors. Any input is appreciated.

Research what people are running. 33's would be safe. Its best of all worlds. Large enough to perform well offroad and look good. Small enough to be nice on your cv's, ball joints and so on. You could run 35's but will have to do a lot of hammering, cutting, lose gas mileage and more chance of cv and ball joint failure.

Yup . as stated you can wheel pretty good with 33s/285s or if you don't mind hammering, cutting, rubbing, or whatever than a 315/35 would work and still be wheelable

Thanks. I know everyone almost is a running a 33" or equivalent but would like to consider going larger. Although the ground clearance gains are minimal.

you'll be cutting into the firewall with 35s. May rub on the frame too depending on your wheel offset. You could run a 34 if you want 17" rims

Thanks. I'll probably buy cheap steel wheels when I do tires so wheel specs can be whatever works best.
