May 2016 Meet and Run

Just FYI ... As I get new info I've been updating post #82 on page #6 as well as editing/adding to the list of people attending / going and the weenies list.

Also I think this will help everyone debating/deciding whether or not they will be camping...
If anyone attending knows that they will be camping for this run please send me a message or post that you will be camping and I will make /add a list of people camping to post 82. I think this will help people teetering on the fence to make a decision. Also what days your planning on camping the night before or just that night, two nights etc etc...

Well yeah, I'm sure a couple of us will go hit some more trails and not just pack up and go. Might as well don't know when I will be out there next so check out much as possible.

No designated spots we will be just camping in the canyons where and like the pic [MENTION=128995]TK-422[/MENTION] posted. It's BLM land so you can camp wherever. Goal is to get us in the same area. I'm going up on Friday I'm gonna take a couple extra small tents I have and place them in spots around me to mark off an area to make it look like people are camping to block off an area....lol.
I have construction cones but I don't think people would go for me doing that to block off an area.
 
We need a big T4R.ORG flag on a pole. :plane:


OK I ordered a white flag. I will make one.

In for camping Saturday night and likely wheeling Sunday before heading home. I might see if I can get a half day on Friday and come up early though.
 
Anywhere near Bouquet Canyon, Sespe Wilderness, or Big Bear would be awesome.

PS - could anyone on the Valencia or Santa Clarita area PM me? I'm new to offroading, having just picked up a nicely modded 96 Limited. Would love to do a very light drive before a group meet, just to learn how to use some stuff. I know some pretty trails tho.
 
Maybe in. Did a shakedown at Azusa, and ran Cleghorn with some of the difficult split offs. I should be good for this; right? No lockers just center.

I was..I am... But everytime I tell myself I'm gonna go the upcoming weekend somebody throws a wrench in my plan. But it looks as though I might pull it off this weekend.
I also have put in countless hours over the last few days mapping the trails utilizing every option available online. Off Road Trail sites and their waypoint,GPS coordinates, descriptions, navigation hints, then taking all that info overlaying it on BLM, topo maps,google maps, Google earth, and then one by one imputing all that into Google My Maps creating one map with every bit of info on it. I have scanned over every bit of land out there with google earth looking for gates, fences, rocks blocking trails off etc so we don't hit any dead ends...that I even found this out there in the calico mountains so I labeled it and saved it then added it to googles "add missing place or business".lol

But I still wanna do a run through so I can see how long the trails will take to complete and gauge the level of difficulty and where stock rigs may have an issue but I don't think there will be.
