APRIL MEET UP AND TRAIL RUN
The meet will be Saturday, 28 May at 9:00am. The run will be in the area of Calico/Yermo near Barstow.
Difficulty: Easy/Moderate trails.

Meet Location: @ 9:00am-- we will begin the safety briefing and hit the trail by 9:30am. If you want to grab breakfast, I will be at Peggy Sue's around 8:00am. We will meet in the Peggy Sue's 50's Diner parking lot. The address is:
35654 West Yermo Road, Yermo, CA 92398, located off of the Ghost Town Road Offramp: Yermo (Calico), CA

Meet location:

From Los Angeles or San Diego, navigate to I-15 N, after I-15 merges with I-215, proceed past Barstow and exit at Ghost Town Road and turn right, you will see the diner, make a left.

What to bring with you:
Good Attitude - This group is big...we'll need to be patient with each other
Bring food, beverages (no alcohol consumption en route please)
Spare fluids for vehicle
Recovery gear if you have it.
Recovery point front and rear (factory hook is fine)

What part of socal is that?

It is known as the grapevine. It is the located off the 5 fwy between the Santa Clarita valley and the desert area of Bakersfield.

I would guess it is around 60 miles North of LA.

There are many trials for motorcycles and other off road vehicles. It is very high in the mountains with many pines. Altitude is around 6000'.
