May 2016 Meet and Run

Wow the trails look amazing! How's the cell service out there? Any chance for those camping that I can meetup Sunday with everyone? Or is Sunday going to the end for everyone?

I made a 3 piece flag pole and just printed out some templates that I will cut out and tape together for the 3 x5 flag I will paint up after my wife irons it for me.

Tyler's camping stop looks OK from Google Earth. It looks like a dry lakebed that someone did a whole bunch of donuts on.

So Tyler's it is? I guess I'll just strap on all the camping gear and see where we end up Saturday.

I'll probably stick around a bit on Sunday, if nothing else just to take my son up into the Ghost Town itself.

My boys are getting excited for some wheelin and camping. @SoSoRunner-We'll take our time on Sunday as well, my boys want to check out the ghost town.
I was going to borrow my buddy's trailer but if we don't have a spot to camp better to load everything in the rig and see where we all end up.

Yeah I'm thinking Tyler's cause it in a cove which will block the wind and on top of that new can get all of these guys trailers in there and just rally up like a wagon wheel throw down a fire in the middle shoot the the shit eat drink and be merry.

Go ahead and bring your trailer we can drop off all the trailers and peoples tents and what not to lighten everyone's loads ... then head on out and have a good time.

@sosorunner there will be a few of us hanging around to wheel and check out the ghost town ...


And FYI guys if you haven't noticed the site is jacked up right now so there is nothing letting you know you got a message, or putting @ in front of people's names isn't working either and multiple other things and knobody seems to know what happened....so you just have to keep checking up on any new info.

Sounds good. Looking forward to it. I'm overdue for a night around a campfire with a beer in my hand.

Ok cool I'll come out Sunday then! If there's cell signal just send me a pin in google maps, with that I'll be able to find you guys. Just let me know a time and I'll be there.

Sorry that I haven't chimed in, I've been working non-stop since returning from vacation. I have reservations at the Calico County Park. I'll be bringing my travel trailer up Friday afternoon and staying there until Sunday.

Miah, I can update my first post, or you can drop the info in the second post.

Either way, I'll let you do it since you add all the other important info and details and I think your layout and reading it coming from you is preferred. Lol

June's gonna be busy for me. Two tw meets. Beach and bonfire at the beginning of the month and rowher at the end of the month.
