the OD and the ECT pwr switches...what are they for? i bought my runner used and it did not come with any owners manuels.

another question, do you have to buy and install the ome shocks with the ome springs? can they be used with other aftermarket shocks? thanks in advance for any additional help.

the OD off button is like a 3 gear just in between D and 2nd gear it helps up hills, and down hills too. and the ect button just prolongs the shift pattern to rev higher before shifting, i leave this on all the time because it seems to work better with all of the added weight i carry around in my truck.

and for the OME questions you can use the springs with other brands no problem. Im running OME springs and shocks and im loving them.

thanx for the reply. do you know if the springs alone add a slight lift when replacing them with the ome 891's? i have the Rancho 5000 that they said it was for 0" - 1" lifts. would i have problems when adding the ome springs to the Ranchos?

The O/D off button simply stops your transmission from shifting into 4th gear. When you have the button pressed think of it as a 3 speed tranny.

I have had good luck finding owners manuals and shop manuals in PDF form by searching for them in Google.

You could also try pdftown.com but I normally have better luck just searching through Google.

umm i believe that the OME set up starts with like 2 inch front coils and 2.5 inch rear set up. so idk if your shocks would allow that and articulation. if i remember i have the 89o's on my car and it gave me the 2-2.5 lift. and the 891's are 3 inches for the rears
