Maybe this is normal?

So I am sitting at work (Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler) and we have a Wrangler 4 door in the shop getting a 3.5 inch lift put on. The instructions say to install the rear shocks with the boot on the bottom, does this make sense? The fronts have the boots on the top. Maybe this is normal....just does'nt look right.

it's all about preference. It doesn't matter how the shock is situated. Some like the look of it being inverted, others like the shock body next to the axle.

Neato, thanks for the info! They just looked odd and was wondering if there was a reason why the instructions say to install like that.
