Ok, let me preface this with: she's white, and her real name is slutlana (svetlana, but modded because, well you know...). So, this will be the white russian build. You follow? :crazy: good!
So, I bought her back in september of 2014. But, just recently started becoming active on the forums and digging around for ideas to do.
The day I bought her.
As my first mod, I decided to plasti-dip some rocker panels. It came out OK, but they are starting to peel now. I think I'll just end up tearing it off. But, maybe ya'll can chime in with some opinions!!!
So, for her main voyage, I took her and the old lady out to Ocean Shores for a few days of running around on the beach.
So after a few camping trips, and a hunting season I decided I wanted a front bumper w/ a winch. This came after watching all my buddies thrashing around without a care that they would get stuck.
I didn't take too many pictures - I didn't have the forethought of making this build thread..
Here it is coming together, just mocking 'er up! I went with a redneck build. I've fabbed a lot of stuff, and kinda just took this one by eye. It came out alright, I still have a little work to do.
Cut some holes for some 3" led turn signals, But now I want to go with 2" and put them up in the corner and widen the 3" holes to 4" and mount some more lights.. My whole idea was going to based around a CBI front hybrid bumper, but I kinda got off track.
And finally, after winch and everything is mounted. Still have to put the underpanels on and top pieces.
So, that's pretty much where she stands now. I have the bumper itch so I bought one of these cheap plasma cutters, because all i had for the front bumper is an angle grinder, a drill and a welder.
So, from here I plan on building a rear bumper with tire carrier, a roof rack, and then some suspension upgrades.
