MCTAPPER's 05 T4R Sport Edition V8 BUILD THREAD

New to the forum and wanted to share my build thread as I've been making several upgrades to it over the past year and found a lot of useful info on the T4R forum, so I wanted to share what I've done! This 4th gen has only has one owner (me) and currently sits at ~97k.

The Xreas suspension went out at 96k and that was the catalyst for all the work that came after. The only thing I had done prior to this was install an K&N air filter.

Big shout out to RSG Offroad in Denver, CO. They've been a huge resource and did most of the install work on my rig.

Here is PHASE 1:
-Toytec BOSS 2.0 (HD Rears and 650 front coils)
-SPC UCA's
-Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers
-Trim packer to left rear
-Profile performance LED Headlights
-Toyo MT 285/70/17 33's


During the install it was determined that the cam bolts were seized, so we had to install some Whiteline bushings and SPC cam bolts.

I couldn't help it and took it out the day after I had the work done. Wanted to break it in!

PHASE 2 of the build

Immediately after doing phase 1, which I thought was a lot.... I realized we were just getting started so I started ordering more parts. Below is what I was able to add on during the second phase.

Here is PHASE 2
-Relentless Fabrications "Defender" front bumper
-RSG angled sliders with top plate
-CBI Steel Full Skid Plate
-Baja Designs S8 20" LED Light Bar
-Baja Designs Squadron Pro LED's
-Rigid Industries D-Series DOT fog lights - I added amber covers as these can be used on the streets
-Superwinch Tiger shark 9500

Thank you! I think it's coming along nicely and I'm excited to take her out ASAP! Had to represent the boys in orange and blue.

I just finished up the third phase and will be adding it to the thread first thing next week. She looks even better with a new set of wheels and a roof rack!
