Measurement needed 1999 skid plate ground clearance

I'm wondering if anyone could help me with a measurement of the ground clearance of the front skid plate of a 1999 4WD SR5 if possible. I'm trying to figure out how much lower the lowest point on the 4th gen skid plate is compared to the 1999. I've found this site but it just states the differential (not sure if that was actually the lowest point or not) 4Runner Ground Clearance.

I measured my 2007 4WD sport and at the lowest point of the skid plate it's on 7/7.5" off the ground. It's visibly lower on the 4th gen than the 3rd gen. Here's a picture of my former 1999 SR5 Highlander's skid plate.



Here's the best picture I could find showing the 4th gen's skid plate (haven't had a chance to take a picture of mine). I can take a better picture of mine to show exactly what I mean if it's not clear from the picture.

I've seen JA's site showing the side comparison, I wish there was a before front comparison of the 3rd and 4th gen. The closest thing I've seen is between a stock and lifted 4th gen by NCSCOTT http://www.toyota-4runner.org/445893-post40.html

JA has a better picture of the stock height of the skid plate on his 1999 Highlander

I can get under mine with a tape measure but I'm not sure how accurate it will be. The shocks aren't stock and it is a 11 year old vehicle. I check it out after work tonight.

From the back edge of the front skid plate to the ground approx 10 3/4 inches, give or take a quarter inch for the driveway irregularity, and 11 year old suspension. The shocks look like they've been replaced for what it's worth.
