So I brought my truck in for an alignment after doing my daystar lift and I get a call saying I need two new CV's since they couldn't re-boot them, whatever, fine.
I asked them to fix my torn steering rack boot, no biggie, they have to change the CV that should be easy.
Rewind two weeks ago, they fixed my frozen calipers, pads, rotors, front struts diff oil and some other stuff, 1800 dollar bill that left me with ABS/VSC lights on.
Back to this time, lights still on. I need a new ABS sensor and that couldn't possibly be as a result of their working on the brakes, even though the timing coincided with when they did the brake job. 225 for the stupid sensor.
Today, I notice a ton of grease in my wheel well. CV- hub boot blown. They didn't reconnect the sway bar link on the driver side which then fell down and ripped up the boot. and tore the tiny boot on the sway bar link.
Also, my alignment is crap.
I'm bringing it in tomorrow, just thought I would share this ridiculous story with you guys. I'm assuming they will replace the axle for free. This axle was "beefier" and has a 2 year warranty so it was 135 instead of 80.
Does this sound like a load of BS or what? They should have assumed responsibility for f'ing up the sensor. and who the hell forgets to reattach the sway bar link!! I should have just listened to the guys i did the lift with and removed the damn sway bar.
