94 4 runner death shake

Hi I have the “death shake” in my runner and can’t figure out the problem been to two different mechanics in my area it’s not any of my joints the wheels or the alignment had them all checked wondering if anyone has a knowledgeable mechanic that I could trust find the problem come on around over 60 mph and shakes the whole car feels like it’s comping from the center but I can’t really tell

Death Wobble is front axle. Stock or lifted?

Upper and Lower Control arm bushings
Loose Arms bolts
Ball Joints
Wheel Bearings
Bent Spindle
Unbalanced Tires

Easy first check is drive with different tires on it.

I would say might be driveshaft.. If its coming from whole car length... You can go underneath and check the ujoints... But really wont know till shaft is out and check the ujoints. .. Its easy job and some aftermarkets are like $300..strictly speaking 2wd 4runners.. Atleast in my car problem was the rear ujoint on the driveshaft.

But if yours is 4wd unit.. Then cost may be higher.

Check out my write up.. link....Toyota driveshaft or rebuilt one locally?

My 4Runner had a really bad front driveshaft ujoint at the tcase. It was so bad that I was surprised it hadn't exploded off the truck. There was soooo much slop in it.

It gave some serious vibration but no death wobble. Very easy to check with the truck in 2WD and in park. Go under and try and push the driveshaft around at the joints. There should be no play.
