Mechanical gauge

I'm just about done with my engine replacement and would like to install a mechanical gauge for my oil pressure,where did you tap for a source?post some pics if you have done this.Thanks in advance.

For the link O2,that is not a bad idea at all but was hoping he was using some sort of T connector.i will try to find if i could get a T connector for the sending unit since my sensor is much smaller than a 3.0l.

Just for the record, that is a 5VZ-FE that he's connecting a mechanical oil pressure gauge to.

It's just swapped into an earlier truck which originally had the 3VZE.

I'd just get the same adapters he did, utilize the same port, and leave the OE sender for the oil pressure light alone.

A T-connector would work though, so it's just personal preference.

You won't see oil pressure with the scangauge
