Media Center and Win 10

just a heads up, win 10 will NOT have media center and if you upgrade to win 10, it will not install win 10 or you will remove it before win 10 will install.

Windows Media Center "isn't compatible with Windows 10," and it's not going to be.

I rely on this for my 4 tuner ceton using a multi-stream cable card.

may have to break down and switch to XBMC or plex.

outside of a TiVo or HD Homerun unit this is about the only decent thing I could find as a replacement.

lol get with the times old man, its no longer called XBMC, its now called Kodi.



on a a side note, since they have plex for my synology 1815 now, I removed the internal version of a media server and switched this weekend to plex. not my ideal setup since I would have preferred kodi or even serviio since that's what I had on my old WHS v1.

now if I could just get rid of the bedroom tv that cant stream for crap (vizio) to a Samsung I would be set.
